psssst - hey you! yeah, you…

Let’s talk about sex, baby.

When does one’s fascination with sexuality start?

Well, humans start to gain a sense of gender identity around age 3, of which coincidentally coincides with when they will explore their genitals. Freud was groundbreaking (and frankly at the time, heartbreaking) when he suggested that soon afterwards, children become sexual beings.

And in that way I guess I’m no different than you. But what does make me different are my years of dedication to the field of sexology AKA “the interdisciplinary study of sexuality”. Sexology tends to be separated into two areas; the humanities and the sciences, and I keep my feet firmly across both lines. My sexological research has been published in multiple academic journals and my writing has been published in various popular outlets such as magazines and websites. From ancient texts like the Kama Sutra to studying the waves of psychoanalytic thought to keeping up with the latest issues of The Journal of Sex Research; my dedication to the field, like my own sexual prowess, knows no bounds.
